The advantages of utilizing the OU Study app include:

• Easy access to module materials and study planner.
• Ability to download learning resources for offline study.
• Monitoring of important dates and tracking progress.
• Real-time notification for forum messages.

The OU Study app is exclusively designed for Open University students who are enrolled in a specific course or qualification. Users can log in using their OU credentials, the same ones used to access the university's website. Please note that free or paid educational content from partners like OpenLearn or FutureLearn is not accessible through the app.

USEFUL TIPS

• The initial loading time for the app may be slightly longer due to the vast information available on your module website. It is recommended to use a Wi-Fi connection for the first use. Subsequent launches will be faster as the app caches certain data.
• You can individually download learning materials or batch download by week using Course downloads. Access downloaded resources via the Planner and delete any materials from Course downloads to free up space, if necessary.
• The app’s Planner feature conveniently remembers your last studied week, facilitating easy continuation of your studies. Users can easily navigate to the current week to stay up-to-date on key events.
• The synchronization between the OU Study App and your module website ensures that any completed resources or saved progress are reflected on both platforms, providing a seamless user experience.
• Some activities may not be available within the app, redirecting users to the mobile version of the module website via a browser.
